These terms apply to Stage Rivals, the musical deckbuilding roguelike provided by Earmonic Games Ltd, including development builds we make available to players. They govern this game only. By installing or playing Stage Rivals, you agree to these terms, subject to your mandatory consumer rights.
1. Provider and eligibility
Earmonic Games Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 17432593, with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Contact support@earmonic.com about these terms. Meet the age requirements of the distribution platform and obtain a parent or guardian’s permission where required.
2. The game and development access
Stage Rivals is a single-player, turn-based game about building an instrument-card deck and taking a performer through a tour. Battles, route choices, shops, Improvisations and Stage Tricks shape each run. It is currently in development. A preview or test build may contain incomplete content, bugs and changing balance; screenshots do not promise a release date or final feature set.
These terms do not promise online multiplayer, cloud accounts or cloud saving. The features available to you are those included in the build you receive and its accompanying description.
3. License and artwork
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and play an authorized copy on supported devices. The game, code, music, characters, card artwork and branding remain owned by us or our licensors. Do not resell or redistribute the game, bypass access controls, or extract and sell its assets. Exceptions permitted by applicable law remain unaffected.
4. Runs, local saves and progression
Stage Rivals stores run progress locally on the device. A run can end through defeat or your decision to start again, according to the game’s rules. Cards, resources and upgrades obtained during a tour may be specific to that run; they are not a promise of permanent unlocks.
Uninstalling the game, clearing app data or moving to a different device can remove access to local progress. Development updates can change save formats or require a new run; where practical, we will explain compatibility changes in release information. Local backups do not guarantee recovery from every device or file failure. None of this limits any remedy you have under consumer law.
5. Game resources and purchases
Instrument cards, Harmony, tour resources, upgrades and other in-game rewards are gameplay features, not money or transferable property. They have no cash redemption value and cannot be exchanged for real-world goods through the game.
These development terms do not enroll you in a subscription or authorize a payment. Any future paid release or optional purchase must disclose its price, included content and applicable purchase terms before you confirm. Purchases of Earmonic Pro or Toneback Pro do not grant Stage Rivals content.
6. Responsible use and feedback
Do not introduce malicious code, attack our systems, access another person’s data or distribute unauthorized builds. Report bugs without exploiting them to harm other people or services. Use comfortable audio levels and take breaks when needed.
You may voluntarily send feedback or a locally generated diagnostic bundle to support. Review it before sharing; a bundle may include your run save and device or build details. Do not include passwords or unrelated personal information. We may use your feedback to improve the game without an obligation to pay for suggestions.
7. Local data and support
Local run saves remain on your device unless you choose to share them. Sending a support message or a diagnostic bundle gives us the information you include so we can investigate and reply. Our Website Privacy Policy describes how we handle correspondence sent to the studio; it is not a claim that this website policy covers every future game feature. Contact support about information you have shared with us. Deleting local game data does not delete correspondence already sent.
8. Availability and your rights
We provide the game with reasonable care and skill. Compatibility depends on the supported device and build requirements. We may update the game to fix issues, improve play or address security needs, and will communicate material changes through the game or release information where appropriate.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where consumer law gives you a remedy for digital content, these terms do not remove it.
9. Changes and contact
We may revise these terms for changes to the game, distribution or legal requirements. We will identify the revision date and give notice of material changes where required. New purchase conditions will be presented before a purchase. For questions or complaints, email support@earmonic.com.
